Augusta, GA – November 13-15, 2025 —

“And it’s gonna be a cooooold, a cold November.” Last week, the temperatures were in the 70s. This week, snow is falling in Georgia. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued. And below freezing temperatures are expected. Indeed the Alphas are in the atmosphere, and all roads lead to Augusta, Georgia on November 13th for the 70th Annual | 85th Anniversary Georgia District Conference.

Under the theme “The Georgia District - Forged in Unity; Powered by Brotherhood; Mission Driven by Purpose,” the Host Chapters, Eta Alpha (Paine College/Augusta State University), Alpha Chi Lambda (Augusta, GA), and Tau Epsilon Lambda (Columbia County, GA) have promised that you’ll leave with lasting smiles and cherished memories.

What to Expect.

Of course two of the highlights of the District Conference are the Step Show where College Brothers will challenge each other for first place and Chapter bragging rights and the Miss Old Gold & Black Scholarship Competition featuring Chapter Queens who will showcase their pageantry and talents. But there are also the various brotherly competitions for both College and Alumni Brothers and Chapters to determine who will take home 1st place in scholarship, service, and oratorical expression through speech and debate. A new Assistant District Director will be chosen. The breakfast and luncheons will have dynamic speakers who are Alpha Icons and Living Legends. There will be informative business sessions and workshops designed to educate, empower, and strengthen your Fraternal spirit. And most importantly, there will be plenty of time dedicated to fraternal connections over chocolate cake, demi-tasse, and Brotherhood smokes.

What to Wear.

All Business Sessions, luncheons, and the Miss Old Gold & Black Scholarship Competition will require suit and tie. Saturday is “Old Gold & Black Day” with all Brothers wearing black suits, white shirts, dark socks & shoes, and a black, gold, or black & gold tie. Outside of the Business Sessions, Brothers can wear their vintage or freshly purchased ‘nalia or go “Alpha fresh” and display their intricately designed Line Jackets.

What to Do in Augusta.

Whether you spend some quiet time on the Riverwalk or visit the “James Brown Museum” (Augusta Museum of History), there is so much to do in Augusta. With whatever you decide to do, Brother District Director has personally requested that you allow the “true spirit of Fraternity rule your heart and guide your thoughts while shaking hands, exchanging greetings, and building meaningful connections with as many Brothers as possible.

Who All Will Be Over There.

Hundreds of College and Alumni Brothers from across the Georgia District have already registered and made plans to attend. Our Southern Regional Vice-President, Brother Matthew S. Bradford, and Southern Regional Assistant Vice-President, Brother Devonte D. Rolle, and many guests from the Divine Nine and the community will also be in attendance. So we’re just waiting on YOU! So come thru! Come kick it with the Bruhs.

So whether you’re a 50 year Member or newly initiated, College or Alumni, active or inactive, from another Region or District, or just want to reignite that good ole Alpha Spirit, Augusta is the place to be this weekend!

Hope to see you there!
