Morris Brown College - Atlanta, GA — After more than two decades, a powerful symbol of tradition, grace, and excellence has made its long-awaited return to Morris Brown College. The Old Gold and Black Royal Court has triumphantly reemerged—restoring a proud chapter in the school’s storied history and reaffirming the enduring spirit of leadership and sisterhood that defines this institution.
This year, we proudly present three radiant women who embody the ideals of scholarship, service, and sophistication that the Court represents:
Miss Old Gold and Black — Miss Eddye Ni’el
Miss Iota Chapter — Miss Malaysia Anderson
Miss Light of the World — Miss Kai Yehudah
Each of these phenomenal women brings her own light and purpose to the royal lineage. Together, they represent the excellence, elegance, and empowerment that have long been synonymous with the Old Gold and Black.
Their debut at the Student Organization Greek Reveal was nothing short of inspiring. Draped in dignity and confidence, the Court captured the attention of students, alumni, and onlookers alike—standing as a living testament to what it means to lead with pride and purpose.
After 22 years, the return of the Old Gold and Black Royal Court is more than a celebration—it’s a revival of legacy. It reminds every Morris Brown student that traditions, once thought lost, can be reborn stronger than ever when carried by those committed to excellence.
The legacy continues.
